Obituary of Arnold Brick
Arnold J. Brick
Age 88. Passed away Friday, August 24, 2007 at his late residence. Born in Joliet and a lifetime area resident. A U.S. Army Veteran, he served during WWII in the European Theatre of Operations. He was the recipient of the Victory Medal, American Campaign Medal and Good Conduct Medal. He was employed with GAF Corporation, retiring in 1981 after 40 years of service. A loving grandfather, he was a Cubs fan, NASCAR fan, and enjoyed working on cars.
Survived by his daughter, Pamela (Steven Abbey) Brick; one son, Robert (Ladine) Brick; and five grandchildren, Teresa "Tess" Abbey; Kory, Kyle, Kelsie and Kasie Brick.
Preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Helen M. (nee Kuhajda) Brick (1984); parents, Felix and Mary E. (nee Levanduski) Brick; and four brothers, David, Lee, Phil and Ray Brick.
Funeral Services for Arnold J. Brick will be Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Inurnment Woodlawn Memorial Park where military honors will be conducted. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Arnold's name to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Visitation Monday 4-8 p.m. at:
