Obituary of Angeline Resler

Angeline Lucille Resler (nee Mussario) Age 90. Friday, February 22, 2013 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born in Joliet, the daughter of Parmerino and Annarose (nee Cemeno) Mussario, she was a lifetime resident. She retired from Gompers Junior High School, where she worked in the cafeteria. Former member of the Columbianetts and the American Slovenian Home, and a longtime member of the Church of St. Anthony. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert Resler; parents; two brothers, Peter and Joseph Mussario and one sister, Rose Kostelec. Survived by her sister, Lena (the late Sam) Greco of Minooka; dear aunt of Paul (Judy) Mussario of Lockport, Sharon (Dennis) Martin of Minooka, Albert (Bobbie) Kostelec of Romeoville, Sam (Penny) Greco of Channahon, Paula (Jan Matthews) Kostelec, Anna (Frank) Jandura; and numerous great-nephews and nieces, including Nicole Jandura of New Lenox. Angeline was devoted to her sisters and family. She loved playing cards and bunco. She also enjoyed watching cooking shows and shopping. Funeral Services for Angeline Lucille Resler will be Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at 9:15 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet to Holy Family Catholic Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
