Obituary of William Bucciarelli

William R. Bucciarelli "Bill" Age 73 of Channahon, passed away peacefully at home Monday, March 4, 2013. Born March 26, 1939 in Joliet, he was the son of Biase and Nunziata (nee DeAcetis) Bucciarelli. He worked as a mechanical engineer for Olin Chemical for 24 years. Bill was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, boating, bicycling, hiking, traveling and camping with his family. He also enjoyed building model trains. His sons will long remember the many hunting and camping trips they enjoyed together. Survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Mary Lou (nee Bullard) Bucciarelli; his four sons, William (Joyce) of Shorewood, Robert (Tracey) of Bartlett, Brian (Janet) of Minooka and Brad (Christine) of Minooka; six grandchildren, Jared (Mary) Bucciarelli, Megan (John) Hone, Christopher Bucciarelli, Brandon Hooey, Lexi and Alyssa Bucciarelli; Katelyn, Kamryn and Ava Bucciarelli; four great-grandchildren, Lucas, Isaiah and Amber Bucciarelli and Emma Hone; one sister, Irma (late Arnold) Kump and three sisters-in-law, Lidia Bucciarelli, Lois Bucciarelli and Mary Rose Bucciarelli, all of Joliet; one brother-in-law, Marty (Sharilyn) Bullard of Jefferson City, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded by parents; three brothers, Oreste, Ernest and George Bucciarelli; and his faithful canine buddies, Bear and Cody. Funeral Services for William R. Bucciarelli will be held Friday, March 8, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet, IL. Cremation Rites will be accorded following services.
