Obituary of Judy Briscoe

Briscoe, Judy I. (nee Baltz) Age 62, of Minooka, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2012 in her loving home. Survived by her husband, N. Gene Briscoe; two sons, Jason (Jen) and Jarrod (Holly); one grandchild, Jack; two brothers, Joseph D. (Nancy) Baltz and Gerald R. Baltz; and numerous nieces and nephews. Born in Joliet and a lifelong resident of the Minooka and Shorewood area. Judy and Gene were married on November 4, 1967. Judy sold real estate for Coldwell Banker Honig Bell for 18 years. She won numerous awards for sales and revenue and she was constantly ranked in the Top Ten Realtor and International Presidents Elite Club Recipient for numerous years. Judy liked auto racing and demolition derby. She loved to travel and loved spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed playing cards and was a member of St. Mary's Bridge Club, and Troy Homemakers. Her greatest love was spending time with her grandson and her great-aunt, Katherine (Baltz) Hayes. Funeral Services for Judy I. Briscoe will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at 9:45 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. Mary Catholic Church, Minooka for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Minooka.
