I worked with Pat at Dirksen Jr. High from 1979-1981, and we stayed in touch for sevearl years after that. I will always remember what a compassionate and competent educator she was, and what a person of integrity, honesty, and lack of pretense. Plus she was a fun girlfriend with a great sense of humor, who made her friends feel so important and cherished! My condolences and sympathy to Pat's family and other friends.
