Obituary of Betty Coop

Betty Scott Coop Age 85, of Joliet, passed away April 28, 2013 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center. Born February 2, 1928 in Warrwick County, IN, she was the daughter of William G. and Mary Bell (Collier) Hall. She worked for Joe's Old World Tap on E. Washington Street for over 20 years. Surviving are four children, Philip Pfingston of Joliet, Robert Lee Pfingston of Evansville, IN, Sharon (Neal) Bowen of Joliet, and Sherry Gomez of Joliet; 17 grandchildren, Philip Lee Pfingston, Marilyn MacBlane, Michelle Jarnutowski, Lynn Manis, Robert Edward Pfingston, Tammy Pfingston, Lynna Pfingston; Scott Lorenc, Jason Bowen, Theresa Bowen, Gary Bowen, Raymond Bowen, Shawn Bowen, Anthony Gomez, James Gomez, Martin Gomez and Brandon Gomez; and ten great-grandchildren. Preceded by her husband, Arthur Coop; her parents; one sister and six brothers. A Memorial Service for Betty Scott Coop will be held Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 127 S. Briggs Street, Joliet. Interment will be private.
