Grandpa, I'm going to miss you. You had one of the biggest hearts, you always were very funny and cracking jokes all the time. You always had a smile on your face, and I could always look forward to your meals because you were a great cook. I will greatly miss you grandpa, I love you.
You will always be in my loving heart and I will sooooo miss you. I loved your being silly and being funny and always caring about me and how I was doing. In our earlier years as kids we played in the bunk beds at night with my knee socks tied together and played tug of war and I fell down off the top of the bunk bed, it was funny. Making a chocolate cake w/ chocolate frosting in moms kitchen one day drinking Southern Comfort and getting silly and messing the kitchen all up and making mom mad but we had fun. Also worried when you left home at an early age and really wanted you to stay with me at home. Now remember you must meet me when my time comes to go to heaven to see you and we will all be together again in a happier life with God.
We loved him,
He loved us,
He is lost to life,
How will we live with this strife?
They were meant to be,
He was her happy ending,
Don't remember him by the way he died,
Remember him by the way he lived,
He was a good guy,
Honest and true,
Now you see us,
We are o so blue,
Now he's gone from this earth,
Though we will never forget,
The good things he has done,
And the happiness he has brought to everyone.
We are going to miss Backyard BBQ with porch swings, your Hospitality with a smile on your face, watching Western Movies with a bottle of Southern Comfort by your side. Thanks for taking great care of my sister and for giving me three wonderful nephews. We love you and will miss you. See you in heaven my Dear Brother-In-Law.
We don't think we'll ever be able to eat another piece of broasted chicken without fondly thinking of you as that was one of your favorites at our family get togethers. We had a lot of wonderful memories of you throughout the years and are sad that you left us way too soon. The only comfort we have now is in knowing that you aren't suffering anymore and that loved ones we have lost before are now comforting you. You always had a big smile to greet us with whenever we saw you and we we know that when our time on earth is done, you will be waiting to greet us again. With much heartache and love we wish you the peace you deserve from all the suffering you had to endure.
You were my big bro, my one-time room mate, my life-long friend. Some of our best times were had while we worked together at the Sonoco in Worth - we laughed a lot. You married the love of your life, Darlene, and raised three sons, who are now all fine young men with families of their own. You lead a full life and have left a magnificent legacy. You will never be forgotten. We love you and you will be sorely missed.
Words cannot describe the heartache we feel from your passing. You will be truly missed. We know you are in a better place now and hope "Gram" welcomes you home with open arms and a big drop top caddy. Love you Dad/ Grandpa.
Grandpa they took you from us far too early and we will miss you so very much, but I have peace in my heart knowing that you are home now and we will eventually all be together again=)Every time we came to visit I could always count on running into the living room and seeing you sitting there in your chair, watching your old western movies, with that bottle of Southern Comfort right by your side=) with a big smile youd hug me, 'hey there sweetheart' =) love you grandpa &we will all miss you!
I'm really going to miss you, you're my bestfriend. Life is not going to be easy without you. I have nobody to come home too, nobody to go out to eat with, nobody to go to car shows with, and nobody to go to doll shows with. The only man in my life that I truly loved, and I always will, and hopefully meet each other again in heavan. I love you forever.
I see that Grandma sent you a message about you and checkers, but you're also a chess master that most people dont know. I just wanted to thank you for always providing for our family. I wish that God didnt take you so young, and I will always miss every time I would come and visit, you pouring me a double shot of Southern Comfort, and I greatly miss you. I'll see you in heavan, I love you dad.
Dad, im going to miss you so much. I have nobody to watch "lets make a deal" and "the price is right" with anymore. You were more than a dad, you were also my friend. I will always love you.
