Obituary of Helen Hilliard

Helen C. Hilliard (nee Strand) Age 90. Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Born in Arkansaw, Wi and a long time Joliet area resident. Preceded in death by her husband, Paul Hilliard (1998) whom she married November 17, 1948; her father Oscar Strand (1900-1982); her mother, Cinderella (King) Strand (1903-1987); a brother Robert Strand and also two sisters-in-law. Survived by one daughter, Susan Hilliard of Libertyville, IL; one son, Gregory Hilliard of AZ; three grandchildren, Christopher, Hayden and Austin Hilliard; one sister- in- law, Charlotte Thorson; many nieces and nephews also survive, including Donald (Lynn) Hilliard and also a dear friend, Peggy Vogen. Per Helen's wishes, Cremation Rites will be accorded. Interment of her cremains will take place at Oak Lawn Cemetery, Mondovi, WI. at a later date. Arrangements by Fred C.
