Frances M. Butler
(nee Lake)
Age 84, of Joliet, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center with her family by her side.
Born September 26, 1928 in Coal City, she was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church and retired from Rust Craft after many years of service.
Beloved and adored mother of Kathy Butler of Joliet, and Rick (Annette) Butler of Plainfield. Also survived by two grandchildren, Edward Butler and Brandy Jo Butler; one great-granddaughter, Candace Butler; one great-great-grandson, Treyton Butler; two step-grandchildren, Mike and Stephanie Lehman; three step-great-grandchildren, Paulie, Jacob and Emily Eberhart; one sister, Ceil (late Bob) Veihl; two brothers, Jim (Raychell) Lake and Art (Judy) Lake; numerous adoring nieces and nephews; and lifelong friends, Rose and Bob Kapinus.
Preceded by her beloved husband, John J. "Jack" Butler (June 23, 1990); her parents, Corlie (1939) and Margaret (1990) (nee Blake) Lake; one granddaughter, Tammy Jo Butler (1970); four brothers, Corlie, George, Edward and John Lake; and two sisters, Lillian Shawmeker and Carol McKenna.
Frances M. Butler will Lie In State on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 310 N. Broadway, Joliet, from 10:30 a.m. until time of services at 11:00 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation Tuesday, 2-8 p.m. at Fred C.
