Obituary of Ruth Barbosa

Barbosa, Ruth Age 79, of Morris and a former Oak Lawn resident, passed away peacefully, Friday, July 19, 2013. Born February 4, 1934 in Puerto Rico to the late Regina and Hortencio Martinez, she moved to Illinois as a teen and resided in the Oak Lawn area most of her life. Beloved mother of Ismael (Kathryn) Barbosa; loving grandmother of Thomas and Carey Ann Barbosa; proud great-grandmother of Evan and Jordan Olson. Ruth retired from Nabisco Inc. of Chicago after 35 years of service. She enjoyed gardening and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. As it was Ruth's wish cremation rites will be accorded and there will be no services.
