Obituary of Mary Brusatori

Mary Fran Brusatori (nee Hermanns) Age 66. At rest on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home after a courageous battle with cancer. Mary Fran was born June 12, 1942 in Joliet, and attended St. Patrick's Grade School and St. Francis Academy. She was formerly secretary at Marycrest Public School, and for many years, owned and operated Maichin's Food Mart with her husband. Most recently, she volunteered and worked at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center, where she was the first recipient of the R.I.S.E. award. She was also Past President of Junior Catholic Women's Club Survived by her beloved husband, of 47 years, Henry Brusatori; her children, Mary Fran (Andy) Tomac and Paul Brusatori; grandchildren Alyssa and Bryan Tomac; her loving sister in Virginia Beach, Mary Suzanne "Sue" Greene; one brother, Robert (Carolyn) Hermanns; and numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. She is also survived by her Aunt Audrey Tierney and many cousins; her cherished coworkers in the Human Resources Department and many friends at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. Preceded by her parents, Francis "Bunny" (1991) and Mary (1990) Hermanns. Funeral services for Mary Fran Brusatori will be Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum.
