Obituary of Virginia Zoleske

Virginia R. Zoleske (nee Batozech) Age 92. At rest Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born in Joliet, the daughter of the late Louis and Carrie (nee Altenhoff) Batozech, she was a lifelong resident. Graduate of St. Francis Academy. She married the late Frank J. Zoleske on May 10, 1941. Formerly employed by Home Savings & Loan (First Midwest Bank) as a savings counselor with many years of service. Member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church since 1957. Virginia loved to read, play cards, golf and was an avid walker. Surviving are her two children, Lynne (Robert) Oestreich and David (Susann) Zoleske both of Joliet; three grandchildren, Amara (Stewart) Honeck of Joliet, Brian (DeAnna) Zoleske of Terre Haute, IN and Bradley Zoleske of Joliet; six great-grandchildren; her former sister-in-law, Sara; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Preceded in death by two brothers, Roy (Mary) Batozech and Ron Batozech. Funeral Services for Virginia R. Zoleske will be Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rd., Joliet to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
