Obituary of Lena Dickinson

Lena M. Dickinson (nee Odom) Age 72. Passed away Friday, August 9, 2013 peacefully at her home with her family by her side. Lena is survived by her fiancé of 19 years, Phil Trimpey of Joliet; her son, Don "Duck" Dickinson of Joliet; her daughter, Barb Seaman of Romeoville; her stepdaughter, Sue (Bob) Dobzyck; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her sister, Marveena Carpenter of Joliet; her dog, Daisy. Lena is preceded in death by her father, Charles Taylor Odom; mother, Daisy Odom; brothers, Charles and Josh Odom; her husbands, Don Dickinson and John Dickinson; her daughter, Debbie Scheidt Brown; grandson, Derek Scheidt. Lena was born in Kingsport, TN. She moved to Joliet as a teenager. She has called Joliet home ever since. Lena loved her family, friends and her dogs, Charlie and Daisy. Lena was retired from Panduit Corporation after 24 plus years of dedicated service. She truly loved her coworkers, especially her boss, Dave Arnold.
