Obituary of Beverly Bridges

Beverly L. Bridges "Goldie" (nee Glade) Age 65. Passed away Saturday, August 17, 2013 at home with her loving family by her side. Born April 12, 1948 in Joliet, Beverly worked as a meat wrapper for Jewel Foods for over 30 years. She loved to cook and bake and also loved the Lord and her family. Survived by her children, Tammy (Baldwin) Kenny Herrod, LaShan N. Bridges and Lemar Bridges Jr.; four stepchildren, Latoya Bridges, Shandra Jourdan, Patricia Kent, and Joyce Arnett; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Graham Glade; numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends, Maria Haymer, Rita Medina, Sandra Duffy-Villagomez, Joy Sterling, Geri Davis and Michelle Lester. Preceded in death by her husband, LeMar Bridges Sr. (2000); her parents, Fredrick and Elsie (nee Davis) Glade; and sister-in-law, Annie Lee Bridges. Funeral Services for Beverly L. Bridges will be Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rd., Joliet. Cremation Rites will follow services.
