Obituary of Donald Sommers

Donald A. Sommers Age 67. Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born in Topeka, KS and a long time Joliet area resident. A WWE wrestling fan, he also enjoyed collecting coins and stamps. Preceded by his father, Donald Sommers; and his mother and stepfather, Grace (nee Cunningham) and Pasquale Ferro. Survived by two sisters, Eva (Carl) Trippett of Lockport, and Ida Ferro of Joliet; and two brothers, John Ferro of Joliet, and Everett Ferro of Romeoville. Nieces and nephews also survive. A Memorial Service for Donald A. Sommers will be held Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Presence Villa Franciscan, 210 Springfield Avenue, Joliet, IL in the First Floor Chapel at 7:00 p.m. As it was Donald's request, Cremation Rites have been accorded.
