Obituary of Catherine Senffner

Catherine, T. Senffner (nee Starcevich) "Kay" Age 89. Peacefully Monday, August 19, 2013 at the Senior Star Retirement Residence in Romeoville with her family by her side. Born in Olmitz IA, retired to Zephyrhills, FL and returning to where she raised her children to Romeoville until the day the good Lord called her home. A graduate of St. Mary Nativity grade school. Former member of the Daughters of Isabelle in Lockport. She was an avid bingo player and an Engelburt Humperdinck fan. Preceded by her husband, Edward Senffner (1993); her parents and two brothers. Survived by three sons, Alan (Cheryl) of Bradenton, FL, Ron (Joan) of Shorewood and Ken (Carol) Senffner of Clifton, IL; one daughter, Nicolette (Paul) Pesavento of Plainfield; 13 grandchildren; 11 1/2 great-grandchildren; one sister, Cecelia (the late Bernard) Kren of Lisle; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral Services for Catherine T. Senffner will be Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet to St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
