Obituary of Dora Palomino

Dora Elia Palomino (nee Rodriguez) Age 71. Born September 25, 1942 in Del Rio, TX, to the late Jesus and Ladislada (nee Arzola) Rodriguez, died peacefully Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at her home. Preceded in death by her parents, and one sister. Survived by her husband, Jesus A. Palomino; five loving children, Stella (Jose) Paramo, Jesus (Dan Barone) Palomino, Mario (Lee Ann) Palomino, Christina (Sebastian) Paredez, and Silvia (Rory) Mulligan; grandchildren, Monica (Tito) Lara, Angie (Chris) Manzo, Jessica, Alexa, Isaac, Reyna, Jasmine, and Isabella; and one great-granddaughter, Ariana. Dora enjoyed flower gardening, listening to music and scary movies. She was a resident of Joliet the past 41 years. She will forever be lovingly remembered by her family. Funeral Services for Dora Elia Palomino will be Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated. Visitation Saturday at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until time of services.
