Obituary of Paul Brown

Brown, Paul A. Age 62, of Morris. Passed away Sunday, October 6, 2013 at Morris Hospital with his family by his side after a hard fought battle with cancer. He was born April 23, 1951 in Joliet, IL to the late Velma (nee Gammie) and Lowell T. Brown, he had resided in Morris most of his married life. He was a proud US. Marine Corp. Veteran. Survived by his loving wife, Dian (nee Johnson) Brown; two daughters, Hope Brown (Fiancé Brad Smith) and Star Brown (Eric Poole); proud Poppy of Carter and Hudson; four sisters, Cissy Leasure, Debra (Thomas) Lee, Barbara Brown and Kathy Hayward; two brothers, Earl (Lindsay) and Robert (Meli) Brown. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Juanita Schubert. He was employed at Caterpillar Inc. for 38 years and a fan of NASCAR, the Chicago Bears and Cubs. Paul was a member of the Rod and Gun Club in Morris and the Machinist Union Local #851 Funeral services for Paul Brown will be Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 1201 W. Route 6 at Deerpath Drive, Morris. Interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
