Gestures
Rhonda; please allow us to extend our deepest condolences, sympathy and prayers to you and your siblings on the passing of your father Ronald Grafstrom, whom I have been privileged to have known and loved for what only amounts to a moment in terms of eternity. The TILDEN TECH ALUMNI ASOCIATION is ever indebted to his being a source of constant strength and encouragement and service as treasurer for nearly ten years, and in many other supporting capacities that have allowed our organization to grow and prosper. I am particularly thankful for our having had the privilege of awarding him our Joe Tilden Award at our annual banquet in the fall of 2007, in recognition of his endless, dedicated and tireless service. I believe that Ron is now in God's hands, and I pray that God's blessings and grace provide his loving family and friends with the needed comfort and strength to get through these difficult times. Ron will be greatly missed by his FELLOW TECHMEN.
Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what's to be,
A resting place along the road,
to sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys,
Different paths along the way,
We all were meant to learn some things,
but never meant to stay...
Our destination is a place,
Far greater than we know.
For some the journey's quicker,
For some the journey's slow.
And when the journey finally ends,
We'll claim a great reward,
And find an everlasting peace,
Together with the LORD.

Always more of an uncle than a cousin to me. The happy memories playing at your house when I was young will always be remembered. I am grateful for the closeness and love you always had with our family. May you find much love and light on your next adventure Ronnie.
Grandpa, You we're my very first pal. I am, and always have been very proud to be your first grandson. You always had a new joke every Friday night. Even if it wasn't your funniest, it was new. Hearing your big laughs always made every one funny. The many car rides from Joliet to Seneca, laughing with Larry Lujack and Tommy Edwards. Talking numbers, whether baseball or arithmetic and why it was important. Your career was in numbers. Makes sense my favorite pastime demands it. Many will miss tremendously. Your Great-Grandson's send their love. Until we meet again, RIP Grandpa. Love Always, "REB"
God Bless you and all of your loved ones at this difficult time. We are praying for your peace at knowing that your father is in a good place and has simply moved on to his next chapter. Every life on Earth has a purpose, has made it a better place somehow, and has touched others.
You are in our prayers.
You lived a long happy life with (4) wonderful children. May you rest in peace. You will be missed by all who knew you, especially your family. We will miss your "Joke of the week" whenever we saw you. Your loving sister.
