Obituary of Keegan Nowland

Keegan Lance Nowland Age 29, of Joliet, departed suddenly November 7, 2013 at his home. Keegan was born in Joliet on August 12, 1984. He attended Joliet Central High School and graduated from Lincoln Challenge, then proceeded into the United States Marine Corps. Keegan's life focus was to make sadness disappear in others. He was known for his warm heart, free spirit and his love for a good game of frisbee golf. Keegan is survived by his parents, Richard and Tammy (nee Ford) Nowland; brothers, Alex and Ryan; grandfather, Harold; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and loved friends. Keegan was preceded in death by his grandmother, Elnora. Funeral Services for Keegan will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Pastor Greg Munyon of Stone Hill Baptist will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the wishes of the family would be appreciated.
