Obituary of Rosa Gonzalez

Rosa M. Gonzalez (nee Gallego) Passed away Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born in Puerto Rico, she immigrated to the United States in 1950, residing in Romeoville since 1966. Formerly employed as a secretary for the Department of Labor in Puerto Rico. Survived by her sisters, Josephine (Frank) Boyd of O'Fallon, MO, Gilda Gallego of Romeoville and Martha (Joe) Haenke of Downers Grove, IL; one brother, Miguel (Rachael) Gallego of Ringold, GA; several nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded by her husband, Jose Gonzalez; parents, Raphael Sr. and Josefa (Rolon) Gallego; and many brothers and sisters. Funeral Services for Rosa M. Gonzalez will be Monday, November 25, 2013 at St. Andrew the Apostle, 505 Kingston Dr., Romeoville where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
