Born in Joliet, worked at Texaco Refinery, Lockport, IL, Amoco and BP and Flint Hills Resources, Joliet, IL. Retired from Flint Hills in 2009. Nothing could be sweeter in life than sitting on the back porch with coffee in hand and a jug of peanuts next to him to feed his beloved squirrels, chipmunks and blue jays with his best friend, Angus, and how they enjoyed their times together walking around the yard looking for rabbits. An avid Cub fan, but boy, could they make him angry. A good husband, father and friend. Someone you could always count on.
At Roger's request, Cremation Rites have been accorded. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements by: Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. For more information: (815) 741-5500 or www.fredcdames.com
