Obituary of F. Richard Pearson

F. Richard Pearson, Jr. "Dick" Age 91. Passed away peacefully, Friday, December 27, 2013 at his home. Preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Myrtle (Krutz); his wife of 50 years, Marie Emily (Yaras) (1993); son, Randall (2011); daughter-in-law, Jan (Vincent) Pearson (1996); and infant great-grandson, Hubert Reyes, Jr. (1990). Survived by his children, Donna (Richard) Collins, Willamena Jaeger, Jeff (Linda Adams), and Bradley (Kris); grandchildren, Larry (Amy) Collins, Kim (Jeff) Pilon, Steven (Janet), Stephanie (Kyle) Adamowski, Ann (Roger) Banister, Carrie (Rich Wilder) Reyes, John (Lin), Donna, and Trent; and 22 great-grandchildren. He was a U.S. Marine Air Corp veteran who served from 1942-1946, and 1951-1953. Employed at Illinois Bell Telephone Company for 34 years, retiring in 1982. Funeral Services for F. Richard Pearson, Jr. will be Saturday, January 4, 2014, 9:15 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rd., Joliet to St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Crest Hill, where a Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated. Memorial visitation Friday from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
