Obituary of Dale Lancaster

Dale W. Lancaster Age 68. Passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice home surrounded by his loving family. Born July 1, 1945 in Joliet to William and Esther (nee Penosky) Lancaster. Retired in 2008 from Equistar Chemical Company with 42 years of service. During the 1970's, Dale volunteered as a fireman and EMT in Rockdale. Survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Linda (nee Carroll); two sons, Justin and Derek; aunt, Jean Barrows; siblings, John (Liz) and Jayne Rivera; best friend, Brian Richardson; sister-in-law, Donna Leonard; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents; uncle, Eugene Barrows; brothers-in-law, David Rivera, Gerald Carroll, and Daniel Leonard, Sr.; and nephew, Daniel Leonard, Jr. A Memorial Gathering for Dale W. Lancaster will be held on Monday, January 13, 2014 from 3-7 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet.
