Manuel Navarro Age 77. Suddenly Wednesday, January 8, 2014. Retired from CTA with 30 years of service. Beloved husband of Irene (nee Guillen); loving father of Veronica (Paul) Riggs, Joseph (Trish), Charisse (Rick) Nagy, Ramona (Andy) Browne and the late Roxanne (Tom) Kleen; proud grandfather of 12 and great-grandfather of 16; dear brother of Luis (Theresa) Navarro and Connie (Henry) Knackstedt; uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Manuel Navarro will be held on Monday, January 13, 2014 at 9:15 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet to Holy Family Catholic Church for 10:00 Mass. Interment will be private with full military honors at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
