Obituary of Mary Tezak

Mary H. Tezak Age 91. At rest Thursday, January 9, 2014 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice home with her family by her side. Born in Joliet to the late Anthony and Mary (Kramer) Tezak, she was a lifelong resident. Formerly employed as a model for Evans Furriers in Chicago, The Rialto Square Theater and retired from the State of Illinois following 53 years of service. Member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet. Preceded by her parents; one brother, Robert Tezak; two sisters, Florence (Jim) Nasenbeny and Virginia (Ralph, Sr.) Papesh. Beloved aunt of Nancy Mucha, John (Tracy) Papesh, Ralph (Terri) Papesh, Jr., Maryann (Pat) McGinnis; her great-nieces and nephews, Nicholas (Kristen) Yangas, Natalie Smith, Christopher (Jen) Papesh, Tony Papesh, Ross Papesh, Morgen (fiancé, Alex) Papesh, Jack and Katie McGinnis; and her great-great-nieces and nephew, Kayte Yangas, Hannah, Charlotte and Austin Papesh. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thank you to Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center, Joliet Area Community Hospice and Dr. Ramesh Patel and staff for their care of Aunt Mary. As it was Mary's request, private funeral services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to St. Joseph Church, Joliet or Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
