Obituary of CDR. Byrd

CDR. James Patrick Byrd Age 80, died Thursday, December 2, 2010 in Encinitas, CA from complications of Parkinson's. He was born January 25, 1930 in Joliet, IL. Jim graduated from Joliet Township High School and Illinois Wesleyan. He retired as a Special Agent NIS after 20 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, James M. and Helen (nee Hitchings) Byrd. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Betty Jean (nee Peart) Byrd. Burial will be Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Elmhurst Cemetery chapel.
