Obituary of Engracia Aguirre

Engracia V. Aguirre (nee Casarez) Age 92. Passed away unexpectedly Friday, May 27, 2011 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center. She loved to cook, knit and read; and was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She was a former volunteer at the Spanish Center, primarily helping with daycare. Survived by her children, Raul (Suzann) Casarez, Tony (Theresa) Casarez, Robert (late Carla) Casarez, and Daniel A. (Pamela A.) Casarez; grandchildren, Rachel Casarez, Amy Casarez, Amanda Casarez, Chris "Mike" Casarez, Natalie (Todd) Hernandez, Anthony (Viera) Casarez; Robert L. Casarez, Michelle (Andrew) Scott; Daniel J. Casarez, and Katherine Casarez; great-grandchildren, Josh Casarez; Sylvia Casarez, Nathan Graham, Jacob Graham; Danny Casarez, Sierra Casarez; Nathan, Vicky and Isabel Hernandez; Tyler and Kaitlyn Casarez; Josh Scott; Ayla Summer; Madison, Max and Cheryl Tanner; one sister, Manuela (Steve) Ayala; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her siblings, Michaela Sandoval, Juan Galindo, Lorenzo Galindo, Librado Vallejo, Linda Herrera, and Belan Galindo. Funeral Services for Engracia V. Aguirre will be Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
