Obituary of Mitzi Candela

Candela, Mitzi (nee George) Margaret "Mitzi" (nee George) Candela, age 65, late of Marseilles, and formerly of Chicago, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2012 at Morris Hospital with her loved ones at her bedside. She was a loving wife, a devoted mother and faithful friend to many. Loving mother of Tammy (Fred Allen) Kunkus, Salvatore (Karyn Koval) Candela, and Annamaria (Ted) Webb; dearest grandmother of six; and special great-grandmother of five. Preceded by her husband, Salvatore "Sam" Candela (2009); parents, Milton and Perna (Hartwig) George; one sister, Katheryne Narducy; three brothers, Milton, Robert and Michael George; and one granddaughter, Samantha. Funeral Services will be 7:00 p.m., Sunday, September 9, 2012 at Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet.
