How I enjoyed hearing the stories of a really fascinating life. One can truthfully say," She and George lived life to the fullest." ....their world travels...the danger experienced in Africa....George being taken for President Carter in China....Vi nearly cutting off her thumb while her parents rested.... Vi punching a very tall opponent in the stomach in a jump ball in a basketball game...the yeast story and the bakery...looking over the multitude of scrapbooks detailing every trip and activity in their lives.. even a scrapbook of her first big trip including the locations, prices, menus,etc....her driving all the way to Montana in her car with her girlfriends. They were the doers and movers in many Sun City activities ... appeared in many plays and musicals ...organ club music.... Their home had an open door... and all was documented in Vi's scrapbooks. I will truly miss the weekly phone calls. SC
