Obituary of Mark Cassani

Mark A. Cassani Age 65. Peacefully, Sunday, June 29, 2014 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, following a courageous two year battle with cancer. Born in Joliet, he was a lifelong Joliet area resident. Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Cele (nee Malone) Cassani. Survived by his loving wife, Rita (nee O'Reilly) Cassani of Joliet; two children, Angelo and Mary; two brothers, Joseph (Karen) Cassani of Florida and Eugene (Sue) Cassani of Coal City; three sisters, Ellen (Rich) Habinc of Colorado, Joan (Jim) Smith of Carterville, IL and Kathy (Terry) Smith of Diamond, IL; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Private Graveside Services were held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery where full military honors were accorded by the United States Army.
