Obituary of Barbara Sills

Barbara J. Sills (nee Rasmussen) Age 82. Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at her home in Crest Hill. Born on April 8, 1932 in Waterman, IL to the late Orville and Elizabeth (nee Krickeberg) Rasmussen. She served in the U.S. Air Force as Airman First Class. Retired from Caterpillar after 31 years of service. Barbara was a nature lover and enjoyed feeding the birds. She loved her canine companion, the late Honk. Survived by her two loving daughters, Donna Sills and Debra (Thomas) Brandt; grandson, Thomas Arthur Brandt, II; brother, James (Barbara) Rasmussen; niece, Sheree (Jeff) Larson; great-nephew and great-niece, Jacob (Katelyn) and Lindsey Larson. Funeral Services for Barbara J. Sills will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery.
