Obituary of Deloris Ziegler

Deloris M. Ziegler (nee Smith) Age 75, of Joliet, passed away Friday, September 5, 2014 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center with her family at her side. Deloris and her husband were active in the U.A.W. Local #588 Retirees Chapter. She especially enjoyed camping. She will be remembered as a beloved wife, devoted mother, and a loving and caring grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Survived by her husband, Raymond O. Ziegler; one daughter, Diana (Paul Jr.) Klover; a special niece, Barbara Fortenberry; her grandchildren, Lenny McCubbin, Bridget (Michael) Margenthaler and Brandi (Jason) Kluck; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Blair, Noah Blair, Dylan Swartz, Nolan Swartz, Austin McCubbin, Mya McCubbin, Cade McCubbin; two sisters, Linda Mazur and Audrey (Tommy) Malin; one brother, Charlie (Gail) Kelley; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded by her mother, Edna Vaughn Kelley; one grandson, Christopher McCubbin; one sister, Loretta Warren; and one brother, Larry Kelley. Funeral Services for Deloris M. Ziegler will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
