Age 91, of Pana, IL passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Gowin Parc Assisted Living facility in Pana, IL where she was lovingly cared for by her Niece, Debbie.
Dolores was born in Pana, IL and retired from the Federal Government where she worked as a bookkeeper for many years. She was a lifelong member of the Richard Street Methodist Church, joining Grace United Methodist Church after moving to the Inn at Willow Falls. She was a very active and a well-known member of the Joliet community, and a member of Gold Star Wives of America.
Survived by nieces and nephews, Sharon Goode of Sandwich, Joseph (Dorothy) Spinner, Sr. of Battle Creek, MI, and Larry (Sue) Spinner of Pana, IL; also many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband Marion, who was killed in WWII; three sisters, Mary Broux Spinner, Elda Broux, and Josephine Broux Moomey; two nieces, Paula Sisk, and Geraldine (Thomas) Hogan; and her parents, Adolph and Mary (Churchill) Broux.
All friends and relatives are invited to gather on Monday, September 29, 2014 at Grace United Methodist Church, Avalon & Larkin Avenue, Joliet from 10:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
