Obituary of Donna Castle

Donna C. Castle (nee Zimmerman) Age 79, of Joliet, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, with her family at her side. Born October 7, 1932 in Joliet, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Clara (nee Lingeman) Zimmerman, Sr. She was a homemaker and also worked as a clerk and typist for many years at the Joliet Arsenal, Federal Savings and Loan, and Joyce 7-Up. Donna was a beloved wife, loving mother and devoted grandmother and great-grandmother. Surviving are her beloved husband, Mervin A. Castle of Joliet; one son, Andrew D. (Donna R.) Castle; three grandchildren, Brian (Maureen) Castle, Kristy (Edward) Englestad and Julie (Joseph) Martin; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Howard (Janice) Zimmerman, Jr.; two sisters, Diane (late Norman) Hert and Geraldine Zimmerman; several nieces and nephews; and her faithful companion, Cooper. Funeral services for Donna C. Castle will be Sunday, June 24, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation Sunday from 2-6 p.m. at: FRED C.
