Obituary of Viola Wilhelmi

Viola M. Wilhelmi (nee Viano) "Vi" Age 95, a lifetime Joliet resident, passed away Monday, October 27, 2014 at Sunny Hill Nursing Home. . She was born September 27, 1919 in Joliet to the late Natalia and Domenica (nee Tarro) Viano. Vi attended Joliet grade schools and graduated from Joliet Township High School. After graduating, she was employed as a dental hygienist. She was the beloved mother of Mary Lynn (Gerald) Eisenbrandt of Stevensville, MI, Richard of Joliet, Michael of Joliet, the late Annette (in infancy) and Mark Wilhelmi of Plainfield; loving grandmother of Brian Eisenbrandt and Kara (Randy) Jeffrey; dear great-grandmother of four; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by her husband, Roger; daughter, Annette; parents; two brothers, Charles (late Stella) Viano and Joseph (Mary) Viano; two sisters, Katherine (late John) Petrone and Caroline (late Joseph) Faletti. Wilhelmi will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 9:15 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
