One of Donna's former neighbors had passed away. His dog Kenny was without a home. I saw Kenny and just knew I wanted to adopt him. The problem was Kenny was being fostered home to home. Donna was persistent in calling and keeping track of him. Finally, after the fourth neighbor decided not to adopt Kenny, I was able to do so. Every time I see Kenny I am reminded of Donna and how lucky I was to have her in my life.
This is just one example of the kind, compassionate, and loving nature Donna had. She kept calling around on my behalf to locate Kenny even though I would get frustrated about the whole situation.Donna's positive outlook made me feel at ease. Every day I see Kenny, I am reminded of how Donna never gave up looking for him.
This is just one example of Donna's kindness. She was an inspiration to me. I know I now have another angel looking down over me.
My condolences go out to all Donna's family and friends.

To Chris and family
I have known Donna since high school days, a long time ago. We reconnected when,to my surprise, she walked into the Doctors office where I worked. From that day on we shared phone calls and emails where she shared recipes and cute corny jokes and inspirational message. I loved it.
In spite of her struggles with her Multiple Sclerosis she remained positive, loving, caring and prayerful.
I will miss Donna and her smiling face I know she will smile down from heaven and now there is one more angel there.
I extend to you Chris and to Donna s family my deepest sympathy.
I know Donna will always remain in our hearts.
Love,
Diana Stevens

Sadly missed along life's way,
quietly remembered every day...
No longer in my life to share,
but in my heart, you're always there.
