Mary was such a dear friend of my mother, Bess Griparis. They worked at Bur Oak Library for all their years there. Mary was so kind...never a bad thing to say about anyone...a lot like my mom in that way. Her cakes were a beacon of her many talents. I just saw a picture of a cake in a magazine that was very similar to the one Mary made for my husband and me for our wedding. It was lovely....although she was so much more than that to me and especially to my mom. My warm thoughts to everyone who loved her. May her memory be eternal.
