Obituary of Dale Kozak
Dale G. Kozak
Age 81, of Streator, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Morris Hospital.
Born January 25, 1933 in Streator, he was the son of John and Mae (nee Loftus) Kozak and was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked for Libby-Owens Ford in Ottawa for 40 years. He was a member of the former St. Anthony Catholic Church, now St. Michael Catholic Church.
Dale was a hard worker and a devoted family man who especially enjoyed his grandchildren and attending all their activities. He was an avid gardener and faithful in tending to his yard and feeding the birds daily. He loved sitting in his swing visiting with his neighbors and family.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 53 years, Marlene J. (nee McMullen) Kozak; his daughter, LuAnn (Ralph) Wagner of Morris; his son, John Kozak of Normal; five grandchildren, Stephen and Kelsey Wagner and Krista, Shayla and Kaitlyn Kozak; one sister, Nancy (late Thomas) Melody of Streator; six nieces and one nephew.
He was preceded by his parents; and one brother, Donald Kozak.
Services for Dale will be private with interment at St. Anthony Cemetery, Streator. There will be no visitation. Memorials in his name to the Morris Hospital Foundation, 150 W.
