John V. Anderson "Andy" Age 84. Suddenly Sunday, December 7, 2014 while sleeping. Born in Joliet and a lifelong Joliet area resident. A U.S. Army Korean War veteran. Former member of the Teamsters Union Local #179. Owner and operator of J and J Trucking Company. Preceded by his parents, James and Annie; one brother, Jim; one son, Robert (1988); three granddaughters, Jessica, Kaile and Crystal. Survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Joyce May (nee Donisch) Anderson of Joliet; one daughter, Sandra Frazier of Arizona; four sons, John of Florida, Tom (Sue) of Joliet, Dan of Coal City and Jim (Paula) Anderson of Plainfield; 13 grandchildren, Johnny, Cody, Chris (Rachel), Danny, Joshua (Kacey), Danielle (Jared), Matthew, Brandi (Christopher), Patrick, Danielle, Ashley, Alex and Adam; and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services for John V. Anderson will be Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 8:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet.
