Obituary of Ryan Smith

Ryan Bradley Smith Age 19, of Morris, IL, died tragically Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born June 15, 1995 in Joliet, to Rachael (nee Sanderson) and Randy Smith. Ryan was raised in Elwood and Braidwood. He graduated from Morris Community High School in May 2014 and was a resident of Morris the past five years. He was a member of Local #81 Laborers Union, currently employed by Eagle services. Ryan loved diesel trucks, anything camo, working on cars and mudding. Ryan is survived by his loving parents, Randy (Nicole) Smith of Elwood and Rachael (Matthew) Harr of Morris; one brother, Andrew Smith; three sisters, Alexis, Mia and Ava Smith; paternal grandparents, Dave (Babe) Smith and Peggy McHenry; maternal grandparents, Doris Salabura and Cecil Stepp; paternal great-grandfather, Pat McHenry; maternal great-grandparents, Betty Jo Joslin and William Sanderson; he will also be missed by his girlfriend, Amber Chlebek; step grandparents, Mike (Belinda) Harr and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Ryan was preceded by his uncles, Bradley Stepp and Dusty Smith. Funeral services for Ryan Bradley Smith will be held Monday, December 15, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 1201 W. Route 6 at Deerpath Drive in Morris. Interment will follow in Wilton Center Cemetery.
