Obituary of Deborah Ceranek

Deborah K. Ceranek (nee Sheets) "Deb" Age 50, of Elwood, died unexpectedly at home on Sunday September 26, 2010. Beloved wife of 17 years to Mike Ceranek, Jr.; loving mother of Jennifer (Arthur) Marasco, Tonya Sheets, Steven Talbot and Breanah Ceranek. Proud grandmother of Brittany, Anthony, Joaquin and Aidan. Dearest daughter of Vi Russell; fond sister of Tommy (Sharon) Sheppard, Joyce Ann (Bill) Preussner; Michael (Debbie) Russell and Jerry (Peggy) Russell. Cherished daughter-in-law of Linda "Lynn" (Kenneth) Brintnall; dear sister-in-law of David (Linda) Klimara, Teri Keller and Tim Klimara. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and her best friend Vicky Bachner also survive. Preceded in death by her grandparents Herbert Monroe and Mary Katherine Saunders and uncle Kenneth Lee Saunders. Deb retired from the U.S Post Office after over 20 years of service, primarily at the Fox Valley Distibution Center. In her spare time , she enjoyed doing word search. She will be fondly remembered as a kind-hearted, down to earth soul who lived for her family. Funeral services will take place Friday, October 1, 2010 at Calvary Baptist Church, 1006 Old New Lenox Rd., Joliet, where she will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until services begin at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital would be appreciated.
