Obituary of Coletta Holder

Coletta L. Holder (nee Weith) Age 64. At rest Sunday, January, 4, 2015 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born in Chicago, she was a longtime Joliet area resident. A graduate of Luther North High School in Chicago, she also attended The Antoinette Pope Culinary School, Chicago. She was employed as a Secretary and Financial Officer at St. Peter Lutheran School. Former member of St. Peter Lutheran School Parent/Teacher League and the Board of Education. She was Treasurer, Flower Chairperson of the Altar Guild at St. Peter Lutheran Church. She was a voracious reader, who loved to cook and garden, and also enjoyed video games. Surviving are her husband, Ronald B. Holder; three daughters, Elizabeth (Jason) Dowling, Emily (Devin) Olson and Leslie Holder (Paul Paternostro); two granddaughters, Faye and Beatrice Dowling. Coletta L. Holder will Lie in State on Friday, January 9, 2015 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 310 N. Broadway St., Joliet from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at 10:00 a.m. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
