Obituary of Robert Reid

Robert C. Reid Age 58, of Joliet, at rest Monday, January 5, 2015 at home. Born April 23, 1956 in Chicago, he was the son of A.D. Reid and Gladys (James) Cowe. Survived by his beloved wife, Mary (nee Cowden) Reid; his loving children, Kathleen (Jim) Melton and Kelly (Chris) Belli; devoted grandfather of Matthew and Megan Belli, and Mark, Alexa, Tessa and Liana Melton; fond brother of John David (Brenda), Dianna (Brian), and Tony (Zoraida); and dear uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Employed with Allstar Trucking. Preceded by his parents and one brother, Danny Joe. Funeral services for Robert C. Reid will be Friday, January 9, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet with Pastor John Ciesniewski officiating. It was Robert's wish that cremation rites will follow funeral services.
