Penny J. Watkins Age 79. At rest Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. Born March 29, 1935 in Blackshear, GA to Thelma (nee Batten) Durkin. Survived by her children, Kimberly Tate and Philip Gray; grandchildren, Georgia Gray, Tedra Gray, Tomarra Gray, Alexes Ivy, Cynthia Stanger, and Breanna Gray; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her mother; daughter, Phyllis Stanger; and siblings, Gerri Hardenbrook and Wilbur Dixon. Funeral Services for Penny J. Watkins will be Monday, January 19, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Interment will be private.
