Obituary of Lynda Galvan

Lynda S. Galvan (nee Koltes) Age 64. Passed away Friday, January 23, 2015 at home with her family by her side following a long and courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Lynda enjoyed visiting Key West every year and deep sea fishing. She was also an avid collector of all things special and beautiful. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Survived by her beloved husband, Jose Galvan; three sons, Jeff (April) Koltes, Jose (Corky) Galvan, Jr. and Sean Galvan; two grandchildren, Ryan Koltes and Haley Galvan; one brother, Glenn "Mike" Koltes; one sister, Sheri Lacy; her father, Roy Lopez; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded by her mother, Geri (nee Linden) Lopez; and her sister, Robin Miller. The family would like to thank Vitas Hospice and all the caregivers and friends who did so much to comfort Lynda and her family. Visitation for Lynda S. Galvan will be Monday, January 26, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until time of services at 7:30 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet.
