Obituary of Marcella Ludden

Marcella F. Ludden (nee Lehmann) Age 95, of DeKalb the past 9 years, and formerly of Joliet, New Lenox and Danville, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Heritage Woods in DeKalb. Born September 23, 1919 in Elgin, she was the daughter of Joseph P. and Minnie (nee Lustoff) Lehmann. Marcella was dearly loved and will be missed by all her family and friends. Survived by one son, Dennis (Cynthia) Ludden of DeKalb, IL; two granddaughters, Dawn (Jerry) Clevinger and Jennifer Ludden; two great-grandsons, Zachary and Ryan; one sister, Charlene (Clyde) Schreiner of Joliet; and a daughter-in-law, Donna Ludden of Joliet. Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph T. Ludden, Sr. (2003); her parents; one daughter, Marcella; and one son, Joseph T. Ludden, Jr. The family wishes to thank the staff and residents of Heritage Woods for their loving care and friendship. Funeral Services for Marcella F. Ludden will be held Friday, February 13, 2015 at 9:15 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet to the Church of St. Jude for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to American Cancer Society would be appreciated. Visitation Thursday, 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
