Good bless Aunt Mary. Years ago she would tell me with stories on her doctoral disseration of cholestrol research on the Pima Indians. Sure I went to college so I could understand 10% of what she said, but mostly just politely listened in amazement at her brilliance. Little did I know that 20yrs later I (as well as millions of others) would greatly benefit from her statin research that led to development of life-saving medicines like Lipitor.
Then of course she had the apartment on Lakeshore Drive directly across from the Museum of Science and Industry. So to any 10yr old boy (or sentient being on this planet), MSI is the coolest museam ever anywhere. Therefore by extension Mary must be cool to live that close, I was convinced she went to MSI every day. Not to mention her original sketches from Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec
THANK YOU FOR ALL THE MEMORIES.
