Obituary of Robert Seeley

Robert G. Seeley "Zeke" Age 84. Passed away peacefully Sunday, February 15, 2015 at his home. Born February 15, 1931 in Joliet and a lifelong Joliet area resident. Retired in 1993 as an ironworker. Member of Local #444. We took solace in the fact that he was given the greatest birthday gift ever, he closed his eyes to this world and was greeted by his loving wife in the next. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Cecilia (nee Gabrys) Seeley; his parents, William and Mary (nee Gulas) Seeley; three brothers, Richard, Bill and Raymond Seeley; one sister, Rose Enich; niece, Kathleen (nee Keca) Worden; and great-niece, Kerry Ann Keca. Survived by one sister, Helen Jean Bedingfield of California; three sisters-in-law, Karen Seeley of Alabama, Joyce Ganz of Lockport and Margaret (nee Gabrys) and Daniel Keca of Joliet; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A special thank you to his loving caregiver, Marta, Dr. Chawla, Dr. Kisiel and Kathy Favero RN for their professional loving and gentle care. Private funeral services for Robert G. Seeley were held. As it was Robert's wish, Cremation Rites have been accorded with inurnment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Arrangements by Fred C. Dames Funeral Home.
