Obituary of Loretta Gough

Loretta A. Gough (nee Turner) Age 49. Unexpectedly Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born in Joliet on July 1, 1965, she was a lifelong area resident. Graduate of the last senior class of Joliet East High School, 1983. Before becoming the "family boss" for the past 15 years, she was formerly employed by both the Joliet Police Department and the City of Joliet. She was very active with Troy Baseball serving as Board Member and team mom. An avid Facebook Farmville Emporer. She was a devoted mom, volunteering much of her time with her children's sports and activities. Survived are her loving husband of 15 years, Terry Gough; her two sons, Ryan and Nick Gough, all of Shorewood; her mother, Gracy (Jerry) Blaylock of Joliet; one sister, Debbie Lynn Piasecki of Shorewood; two brothers, James Allen Turner of Shorewood and Robert Eugene Turner of Rosiclare, IL; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Preceded by her father, James L. Turner (June 3, 1997). Funeral Services for Loretta A. Gough will be held Sunday, March 1, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Private family interment will take place. Contributions in her name can be directed to the family for a memorial that will be established at a later date. Visitation Sunday, 2:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
